And an accidental shot taken by the photographer who suddenly remembered the tsunami coming his way..........
He had set the camera to burst so that it takes several shots in succession so this was totally a "By chance" shot. I'm still laughing hard every time I see it |

be very careful with puddles.
previous experience talking here.
Don't want to hurt your feelings, but I think they look better on the original wheels |

Not hurt Mike wheels were put on by previous owner and being original RS4 wheels from the B7 and the fact I quite like them and add to this how hard is to come by original "Hard" wheels these day's, I'm quite happy to stick with them. Not sure if the original wheels need bigger spacers on them to get past the B7 calipers?
From experience, why be careful about puddles? what happened to you? This was a Ford about 7-8 inches deep, gave me a couple of squeels from the belts and the power steering pump but no lasting effects, thankfully |

I managed to write off my first S2 in a puddle, although it was bigger than that |

water got in the engine. It cut out and never started again.
the fresh air pick up on the 5 cyl is low down . No idea about the V6 but I now give puddles a lot more respect.
Water also got in the interior when I opened the door to get out |

I'm not sure either on the V6 but I seem to be ok with it. I was driving it for about 2-3 hours after this and then it stood for several hours and then drove me 2 1/2 hours home afterwards.
I did go across the ford several times but that was the only crossing done with any haste, hoping to get a nice spray effect but you need 1/2 inch to an inch at most to get that effect!
I will be a bit more wary of puddles at speed from now on though Mike, cheers for the warning |
