Hi Very Happy
Going to be putting these on the 80
17"s
What tyre size do I need?
At the moment it's on 225/50/16 which rub (8mm spaces fitted).
Correct tyre size should be 205/55/16 (cheers Mike)
Thanks

Think you're looking at 225/45x17 or 205/50x17

What width and offset are you running

you can't run 205 on an 8" rim so 225/45 or 245/40 are your options

OK thanks for that, so 225/45 with the spacers should be ok?

Not a fan of spacers but should be fine.

You're still on the OEM brakes aren't you ?

Cheers for the link.
Only think that worries me is that I'm going form a 7J to a 8J width - would it catch on the suspension strut?

In the past I tried fitting a 245/45/17 8J (without spacers) that didn't fit (rears were ok).
I haven't got a 225/45 lying about Sad before I buy new one's.

stick your standard wheel on with the spacer and check the clearance.

Your 8J wheel has 6.25mm extra width (on each side so half inch total) compared to your oem 7.5".

effectively your spacer is only gaining you 1.75mm extra clearance because your wheels are wider
